Georgian National Tourism Administration retrained up to 2,000 representatives of the sector
This year, to support the private sector’s development of service quality, Georgian National Tourism Administration retrained up to 2,000 individuals employed in or seeking employment within the tourism industry. Guides, tour operators, employees of accommodation facilities, and other sector representatives completed the training courses. Various thematic training sessions were conducted for private sector representatives, covering:
Family hotel management
Social media management
Rural tourism and features of tourist services in rural areas
Digital Marketing
Hygiene and food safety
Inclusive tourism products and services for people with disabilities
First aid
International sommelier courses
Enogastronomic tourism training course
Marking and maintenance of footpaths
Training programs were organized completely free of charge and were conducted throughout Georgia.”
