2015 exhibition nomination for the best show was named Adjara Folklore group, and delegation of Georgia was awarded the deed.
“East Mediterranean International Tourism and Travel Exhibition” has been held in Turkey for 19 years. 4-days exhibition was attended by up to 60 countries’ representatives. Exhibition was visited by up to 130 000 professional or interested in travel visitors of tourism sphere. Georgian National Tourism Administration, Adjara tourism and resort department, city hall of Kutaisi, “Liberty Georgia” and Divani” participated in one of the largest tourism exhibitions in the world.
Turkey represents is one of the target tourism markets for Georgia and according to the number of visitors to in Georgia is on the first place. In 2014 1 435 822 international travellersvisited Georgia from Turkey.
